40 Mile Park in Alberta Canada

We happened to find a totally awesome campsite, of course we'll be showing you more of this down the road, keep an eye out for those upcoming videos. It was a scorching hot day when we arrived, it was around 33C if I recall right, OMG it was a bugger getting that car tent attached to the back of our car for the very first time. I suppose if you look at it that way, at least it was not a weight gaining adventure, but a water perspiring onslaught.
Let's talk about the beautiful reservoir now that I've told you too much about things you don't care for. For one they do allow boats in this reservoir, motor boats, not just paddle boats.  We

saw quite a few boats out on the water. From what it looks like, the water in the reservoir was on the lower side but I believe it always fluctuates there, all depends on how much watering gets done out of this reservoir.
The campsite itself it large and well set up, we had a great car tenting site, a bit of confusion as well, someone else was in the stall we had been assigned to, we just moved to another site and didn't bother further, they were a different family so we just stayed away from them. Bonus there is that there was a small store onsite, flushing toilets and also showers, this was totally awesome for me. If you haven't been there yet, you do need to check it out!
