Hey everyone, it's Kass from KassDays! A year and a half ago, I finally made it to Valdez, Alaska—and wow, this coastal town blew me away. Tucked between towering mountains and Prince William Sound, Valdez isn't just another stop on the map; it's a place where raw nature and gold rush history collide in the best way.In this short clip, I'm sharing some of my favorite moments: the dramatic fjord-like scenery, massive waterfalls crashing down sheer cliffs, sea otters chilling in the harbor, and that unbeatable feeling of standing where the road ends and adventure begins. One highlight? Ending the day at The Stampmill + Dead Canary Mine pub downtown. After hiking and exploring, grabbing a stone-baked pizza and an Alaskan craft brew in that cozy, mining-themed spot was perfect. Dim lights, canary lore on the walls, and locals swapping stories—it captured everything I love about small-town Alaska.Valdez stays off most tourist radars, but trust me: the glaciers, wildlife, and welcoming vibe make it one of the best-kept secrets up north.
