Fresh off braving the Alberta cold, I hit the 2026 Calgary Motorcycle and Powersport Show at the BMO Centre. The custom builds and indie creativity were on point, gritty choppers, sleek cafe racers, and wild one-offs stealing the spotlight. The independent scene is thriving, delivering serious inspiration.But the floor felt a touch quieter this year. A few major manufacturers skipped the big booths and factory reveals we saw dominating in 2025. It shifted the energy more underground and builder-focused, great for discovering hidden gems, but it left some sections feeling emptier than before.

Is this a sign of industry shifts, sales trends, or just a one-off?
