Calgary's 2025 European Classic Car Meet: Europe's Finest Invade Stanley ParkIn the heart of Calgary, Stanley Park transformed into a haven for automotive enthusiasts on July 26, 2025, hosting the 32nd annual European Classic Car Meet (ECCM). Organized by the Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary (VSCCC), this beloved event drew hundreds of attendees to admire a stunning array of European vehicles, from vintage icons to modern marvels.  

Despite a cloudy and cool forecast, the weather held dry, allowing around 180 cars to shine under the open sky. Participants arrived early, with vehicles required to be in place by 10:00 AM, organized by country for a thematic display—think Italian Ferraris and Porsches from Germany rubbing fenders with British Land Rovers and more. Registration was a modest $20 per vehicle, while public entry remained free, complete with food trucks to fuel the day's excitement.  
 
Highlights included rare gems like modified Land Rovers from TRS Automotive, classic Porsches, and Ferraris that evoked Europe's rich motoring history. The atmosphere buzzed with community spirit, as owners shared stories and admirers snapped photos, fostering connections among car lovers. Strict rules ensured a respectful environment: no revving, stunting, or drones allowed.  

For those who missed it, YouTube channel KassDays is set to release a video today at 3:30 PM, titled "Calgary's Rare European Car Invasion!" Featuring footage reorganized by country, it promises an immersive look at Porsches, Ferraris, and more from Italy, Germany, and Britain.The ECCM continues to celebrate automotive heritage, proving Calgary's passion for European classics runs deep.
