Hey KassDays fam, it's Kass here with some epic highlights from the Calgary International Auto & Truck Show! The show wrapped up on March 15, 2026, at the BMO Centre, but I'm still buzzing from the final full day on March 13 (and the whole event, really). Amid the massive crowds and rows of shiny new rides, two standout yellow stunners stole the spotlight and got everyone talking:
First up, the Ferrari SF90 Spider—the thrilling open-top version of the SF90 Stradale plug-in hybrid supercar. This Italian beauty was parked right in the official Ferrari of Alberta booth, complete with "OFFICIAL FERRARI DEALER" signage everywhere. What made it unmistakable: Bold Ferrari badges front and centre on the hood, plus smaller ones on the side air intakes. Those smooth, flowing Pininfarina lines with elegant curves around the wheel arches and sills—pure Ferrari grace. Signature horizontal LED headlights up front, paired with a wide, aggressive low grille. A big, active rear spoiler (raised for max drama in the pics), but way more integrated and refined compared to something chunkier like a Lambo wing. That eye-popping bright yellow paint (think Giallo Modena vibes) with black accents, yellow brake calipers flashing through the wheels, and an overall "graceful yet ferocious" presence. Right nearby (in the broader exotics and performance zone), the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 in Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic was flexing hard. This American monster cranks out 1,064 horsepower from its twin-turbo flat-plane crank V8, blasting to 0-60 mph in around 2.3 seconds. With its widebody kit, carbon-fiber bits, massive vents, and that classic Chevy aggression, it's a track-dominating beast priced around $324K USD. Pure muscle energy in that vibrant yellow!Yellow on cars? Some people aren't fans, but I love how it pops—almost as iconic as classic red, but with extra flair. On exotics like a Ferrari or a high-horsepower Corvette (or even a Lambo), it just amplifies the sleek lines and turns every head in the room. It's bold, energetic, and screams fun—perfect for these show-stoppers that make you stop and stare.Team Italian exotic elegance or Team American powerhouse? These two yellow icons were impossible to miss and proved why the show had such a killer exotic display this year.
